The resort is situated in the heart of Government Camp, with easy walking access to downtown, steps from Mt Hood Skibowl and the Mt Hood Adventure Park, and minutes to Timberline Lodge and Mt Hood Meadows.

Collins Lake Resort is proud to offer a host of onsite resort amenities that rival the most luxurious of properties. These amenities are unique in design and are situated amongst the natural beauty of the Mt Hood National Forest. The clubhouses for both the Chalets and the Grand Lodges are conveniently located for easy access by all guests. Both facilities provide year round heated pools that are comfortably kept at temperatures in the mid 80s. Hot tubs are also located adjacent to each pool for a relaxing soak after a long day of recreating. The pool decks are heated to melt snow and ice through the winter season. Dry saunas are also located in each of the clubhouses, near the pools for a complete soothing experience through use of each of these amenities.

Winding throughout the 28-acre resort is a host of trail networks for a casual walk or snowshoe. The trails are interpretive in nature and wind through the old growth forest and around Collins Lake. Benches and picnic areas are available to relax or bring your fishing pole and try your skills on some native trout. The trails are also an enjoyable way to walk into town or to one of the local restaurants. Bike trails are also available from the property, but with thousands of miles of local trails you can choose the one that best suits you and your family.
